OFFICER POSITION OPENING

 McPherson County is accepting applications until 5:00 pm November 27^th, 2019 or until position is filled for a part-time employee (16 hours per week) to serve as a Veteran Service Officer for McPherson County.  Complete job description and qualifications list may be obtained from the McPherson County Auditor’s Office.

 The Veteran Service Officer must be a veteran as defined and required by SDCL  33-17-1; 33-17-2 and include a copy of Form DD 214 with their application.  The successful applicant will provide services to eligible individuals and will interact with state and federal agencies on behalf of those individuals. SDCL  33-16-27-1 requires the applicant to pass a veteran service officer’s certification test.

NOTICE IS, HEREBY GIVEN: Mike Mardian has submitted a request for a variance from the Revised Zoning Ordinances of McPherson County, South Dakota, in that he requests an allowance to place a trailer house in the SW1/4 of 7-125N-66W in McPherson County, South Dakota, with a setback of less than 150 feet from the center of the road, rather than the 150 feet as required by Article 7 Section 705 of said ordinance.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN:  That said application shall be considered by the McPherson County Zoning Board on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 9:00 am in the Commissioners Room of the McPherson County, South Dakota Courthouse located in Leola, South Dakota.  At this time and place, any person interested in the approval or rejection of such application may appear and be heard.
